What are E-Strategies for Human Resource Management at Hospitals?

Over and above clinical and technical training, hospitals have identified the need to train their people on better communication skills, customer management skills and problem-solving skills. The entire training schedule of the hospital can be brought online on an e-portal. This portal can be custom made by the hospital based on their requirements or a ready platform that allows some level of customization can be procured. An online HRM platform should allow to manage, in addition to the functions mentioned above, employee attendance, payroll administration, performance appraisal, resource management and employee life-cycle management on a single, online platform with better efficiency, control and transparency.

Many larger hospitals in India have also implemented such platforms, either for their entire HR operations or for parts of it.
